2010-08-13 Taunting the crowd (open to sidewinder)

ooc: put this right before our match. You can respond to this if you like...


The ring is light up by a flashy green light and from under the ring black smoke emerges.

com1: "What is this all about?"

com2: "If I am reading this paper right this is the entrance of a certain monkey.
But it is sure hard to read in this light and smoke."

com1: "Ok, then let's see what he's gonna tell us we don't already know."

A slimey banana comes flying and hits the first commentator right in the face.

The Gray Monkey Elder makes his way to the ring riding his tiny silver cloud.

GME: "Good eveniiing, folks!"

The crowd starts booing.

Several monkeys follow GME carrying his TitleBelt.

GME: "If you like me or not. I could care less!"

The boos are getting louder.

GME: "But what I care about is a round and fair fight..."

The boos keep on going, but lose a bit of their intensity.

com1: "Well he knows to get the audience pissed from the start. Maybe we got a new Lord of Evil here or what?"

A second banana comes flying from the audience.

com2: "You should be careful what you say pal. If you didn't notice this until now: We're sorrounded by monkeys pointing at us and looking pretty evil."

com1: "Yeah yeah... the Evil Monkey. I got it. Saw them already on the N.W.W.A.Shows..."

A coconut hits the man at the back of his head so he hits his face on the table.

The Gray Monkey Elder looked at this scene for a while, then lifts the mic again.

GME: "So tonight I will face the Sidewinder.
Sounds like a rattlesnake or a homing missle or something like that.
-
but I am sure he won't hit me like his name suggests.
In fact I am pretty sure that he won't land a real hit on me the whole night."

The arena fills with chants 'GME SUCKS' and boos.

GME: "Yeah yeah I got ya all.
You don't like the way I speak to you?
You don't like the way I greet my opponent?
So WHAT?
You want me to talk sweet like the pussy right next to each of you all?"

He turn his voice up.

GME: "Hello mister opponent. I hope for a fair and square fight, but please don't hurt me at all, right?
And please just bring me down once: 'one fall' please not a FRICKING 'LAST BLOOD MATCH'!"

He hops around making a fool of the audience.
Then suddenly stops.
Not moving at all.
The crowd lowers down.

He suddenly lifts his face.

GME: "OK! I'll tell you this much.
I have high hopes for sidewinder and eagerly expected this match.
Right from the moment I got knowledge of it!
I heard nothing but fame and glory about him.
I am trembling in joy for this match!
And if each of us plays his cards right this will become a battle of LEGENDARY magnitude."

Sounds of admiration can be heard from the crowd.

GME: "So come on, Sidewinder!
Hit me with your best shot!
Give it all so no one will be ashamed of this challenge.
May the better wrestler win this fight.
Although it is just a puny one fall match..."

He sounds kinda disappointed.

GME: "LET THE BETTER WRESTLER WIN!"

The crowd cheers.

GME: "MEEEEEE!
No, just kidding!"

He smirks and then moves to the corner of the ring expecting his opponent.

GME: "Hey Sidewinder, come out! It's showtime!"

The Arena trembles in cheers and chants: 'Sidewinder come out'.

The arena lights dim... Over the PA system a couple deep bass drum beats before a voice begins to sing a capella...

Dum-ditta-dum-ditta-dum-ditta-dum-ditta-dah-dah

Dum-ditta-dum-ditta-dum-ditta-dum-ditta-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah

The drum beats a few more times and leads into Big and Rich: Save a Horse [Ride a Cowboy]

The crowd is up out of their seats and waiting for the appearance of the "Evil Busting Crusader",

Sidewinder comes from backstage and pauses at the top of the ramp, posing and waving to the crowd.

The boos start from most, but the crowd is torn between the two men they should cheer for.

Sidewinder makes his way to the ring to takes a microphone and stares GME straight in the eyes.

Sidewinder: "Monkeyman,,, your worst nightmare has arrived. I am still a puzzle to you... You don't know if I'm a rattlesnake or a heat seeking air-to-air missile."

Pause for effect.

Sidewinder: "Well,,, I'm a little bit of both... When you're down on the mat, I can attack you like a rattlesnake. Fast and lethal. And when I climb up to that top rope, I'll attack you like an air-to-air missile.

GME is listening carefully as Sidewinder continues...

Sidewinder: "The last time we faced off, you called your little buddies out of the crowd and they swarmed my like ants at a picnic. Now I'm privy to some of your tactics and have a carefully crafted attack sequence should that happen again... I have seen the evil that is possessing your soul and want to cleanse you. But that's enough talk... Let's get it on!"

Both wrestlers toss their microphones and the referee calls for the bell to start the match.
